Melting Away, from director Doron Eran, marks the first time in Israeli cinema that a feature film depicts parents struggling with and learning about having a transgender child. Join the Keshet Parent & Family Connection for a screening of this Audience Favorite from this year's Boston Jewish Film Festival, followed by a panel and audience discussion about the experiences of Jewish parents of transgender children.

A Candlelight Vigil for LGBTQ Youth Suicide

Join the Brothers and interns of SSJE as we remember youth lost
to suicide in recent years due to bullying and discrimination around
their sexual and gender orientation. Share with us a time of healing
for all those whose lives have been affected by such tragic loss.
The Vigil begins in next-door John F. Kennedy Park with prayer and
candle lighting, then proceeds to the Monastery Chapel.
