TRANS FAITH LEADERS NEEDED FOR SLIDESHOW! SUBMISSIONS DUE WED!

From Rev. Megan Rohrer:

"Hey friends-

I'm helping to coordinate a project with Ross Murray at GLAAD and some other faithful trans folk and we would like to invite you to opt-in or nominate others to appear in a slide show of transgender faith leaders for the Huffington Post. We have a quick turnaround time for this project, so we need your response by Wednesday, January 30th.

We hope to include as much diversity as possible, including people from the full gender spectrum, so feel free to self identify in your bio.  We have also chosen to use the term faith leader in order to encourage submissions from a wider range of transgender faith leaders.  Please note that it may take a long time to edit or there may be limited ability to change biographies in the future, but since we are being given the rare opportunity to use our own identifiers and choose our own photos, hopefully we will be happier with the result of the slide show.
If you are interested, please email to megan@welcomeministry.org:
1) a high resolution photo that you own the rights to
2) A biography statement of that is minimally one sentence, but no more than 150 characters [sample included below].
3) the names (and email addresses f you have it) for other transgender faith leaders you think should be included or will help us represent a fuller diversity of our community

If you are interested, but do not have time to find a photo or write a bio please let me know and we'll do our best to compile sometime from online information and send it to you to proof or edit.

If there is any reason you would not like your name and photo to appear in a slideshow, please let me know and I'll do my best to ensure you are not included even if others nominate you.
Please forward this request to other transgender faith leaders that you think should be included or that you would like to check in with to see if they are interested in being included.
Thank you in advance for your participation!
Megan Rohrer
